The Founder (2016)
So, the McDonald's is created by two brothers, who revolutionized the cooking process so much, that there are now separate documentaries being made about how that changed the whole food industry. Most people know that. On the other hand, the founder of McDonald's corporation is some Ray Kroc guy. So, what the fuck is that about? Well, he was the agent who helped brothers to franchise the whole thing, but eventually they fell apart, and in the end he was the one who ended up on top.
Again, my usual source of info claims, that most things in the movie are actually correct. Family-related parts of the movie are somewhat exaggerated (though, just slightly), to make it feel like a drama. And there is the fact that Ray Kroc wasn't the one who convinced the brothers to expand - he just was the one who did it better after their previous agent quit due to health problems. Other than that... we cannot really know, how those people actually behaved, but this is pretty close to truth of events.
Interestingly enough, movie itself is almost like a documentary. You don't get any action, you get just small amount of family drama. But what it's really all about is just a brutal financial expansion and takeover. So, this won't be movie for everybody, but I did find it pretty interesting.
