God is definitely real to me.
Fair enough. We are all allowed our views, no matter how flawed others may feel they are.
Simply because the Big Bang Theory and Evolution theories don't make sense to me.
Alrighty, again, I can understand where you are coming from. These are both oversimplified by our culture, in a confusing way.
I learned that you can't get something from nothing.
Law of Conservation of Energy, yes.
Thus, the Big Bang couldn't have happened.
Sadly, I do not agree. To understand the Big Bang, one must look to the future. We know the universe is expanding, propelled by the explosive force of the Big Bang. This is evidenced by Redshift. No,w once this energy can no longer propell the universe's expansion, everything will start to contract. Gravity exists everywhere there is mass, and it is all centered in the center of the universe. Two planets will pull closer together, and to others, and so on and so forth.
This will lead to the "Big Crunch". The Big Crunch is what fuels the Big Bang, and what completes the temporal cycle. Everything condenses and contracts into one tiny spot, before giving way and exploding with the energy to create planets and stars. This is the Big Bang.
This contraction, followed by explosion, is the same process that creates Nebulae, albeit it is on a much larger scale when applying to the Big Crunch/Bang.
This is what causes the Big Bang(s). They do not come from "Nothing", but from the last cycle. I will touch upon this more, later.
As for evolution, if that was true then the process should be continueing right now. So that's pretty much BS to me.
Well, evolution is not "Suddenly an ape is more man-like". It is a process of mutations that are selected by nature, when one helps the bearer survive better than the rest.
Think of it this way. I am a man in a tribe, but am born with a birth defect, webbed feet. Us, being a hunter/gatherer group, need to find food to survive. I, with my webbed feet, am fantastic at swimming, and can catch fish with my bare hands, chasing after them. This allows me to feed my family and pass down the biological code, the DNA, for webbed feet. If my family continues to survive better than the rest of the group, soon, much of the group will have webbed feet. This is Natural Selection, and the basis of evolution. If I have something that makes me better, I will survive, and the group will later inherit it through my offspring. It is not always so simple, and my example is outlandish, but it is only for the sake of explanation.
For this reason, it is wrong to claim that evolution is false. It is just evolution as it is portrayed in Churches and on some "news" stations such as Fox is laughable and wrong.
Now God is absolute.
Faith, I will not deny you this.
He was there to begin with so I don't have to worry about what cause an explosion resulting in the birth of our universe.
Well, then how did he get there? Why can we not claim that the beginning of the Big Bang was at the beginning of the universe? I see no difference, only that one is "intelligent" and the other is "matter".
He created man from dirt so I don't have to wonder why monkeys no longer evolve into people.
Again, that is not how evolution works, but I trust you know that now.
The answer to all my questions are spelled out pretty clearly with God.
Well, this I do not understand. You claim that the Big Bang is outlandish, but an all powerful being just happens to be there. I mean, who created him? Shouldn't that throw you off, a bit?
It makes much more sense to me than the other two.
Howso? You really do not explain.
Now, understand I am only playing the Devil's Advocate for the sake of argument. I do not wholly agree with everything I have said, but they are all well rooted in logic and worth your thought. I do not feel it is healthy to just claim religion without giving the other side a try. One must gather info from many experiences, and to deny yourself that is daft.
Basically, just try to understand what I am saying and why I am saying it, even if you do not agree. Even I do not agree with everything I said, but I know they are worth a thought. You would do well to try the same.
