What? If someone's new to the workplace, and their naivety leads to me losing my mother fucking toe, I ain't forgiving shit.
Naivety should always be reprimanded.

That is a worst case scenario and if it does occur then forgive him AFTER you cut his toe with a plastic knife and demand compensation. But if a mistake happens for the first time and involves no civilians life being at stake or causing endless of profit to go down the drain, then i don't see why you should not forgive him/her and tell them not to repeat it the same mistake again.

Aside from this, it's because forgiving someone means you're a bitch, and I can only speak for myself when I say this, but I'm not a bitch.
You reprimand them as harshly as possible, and tell them not to repeat the mistake, but you still reprimand them and hold it over their heads for as long as they're a member. It also works out great that way, because bitches will give into it and leave the site because they're bitches (though there are some strong willed bitches on here), those with A MIND OF STEEL will take it and be absolutely fine with it.
In the end, that's the sort of member you want, the kind of person who can shoot down a plane being flown by a person who was like a mother to them.

Ahahahahaha! I get it! Because he's on a boat when he shoots down the plane, but he's totally in despair when he kills her!
