So yeah, we're likely getting an IOS port and a sequel, or that album is a hoax. I dunno yet, the former seems more likely right now.

I bet the website countdown will be for a t-shirt that comes as a bonus for those that order the iOS port. But the t-shirt can only be sent to those that live in Japan, so unless you're gonna use a forwarding service, you're shit out of luck!
AHAHAHA, the countdown is over. And like expected, it's just an iOS version, with some tweaks to the combat system, art, and music. There's other new content too, but it's not a sequel.

I was saying that it's not a sequel, and I was right. He doesn't work for SE, by the way, he's freelance; he's just uppity about the fact that he worked on TWEWY. Seems like he was expecting a sequel and now that he's all disappoint that he tried to get people's hopes up for nothing, he's hyping the iOS version to cover up his derp.
I need to correct myself. Screw iOS. If it's for Android however... So yeah, fuck you SE. You better do a great fucking job with versus 13. If it even comes out during my lifetime.
Aw man, then what's the point of that countdown and stuff?? That opening page didn't even look like the silhouette on the countdown page. My hopes brought up for nothing. Though logically, Nomura's going full steam on Versus, so it wouldn't really make sense for it to be a sequel. I guess I'll buy it if I get an iPhone for college.
He said that for the past 4 years, every few months, the project seems to reset.
It was confirmed that the devs of Versus are working on it full time since July 2011. I'm not sure what they have been doing since they announced it in 2006. But I just heard a few days ago that Versus is AMAZING from one of the producers. Not that we would know, since SE hasn't shown us anything other than now defunct and outdated engines and trailers. Honestly, this whole Versus thing is pissing me off. I want the devs to say something about it besides "It's gonna be awesome."
I hear they will show some pretty impressive stuff on TGS.
Yeah, I gotta say that I'll be expecting something big like... Dare i say a release date? Year even? If not that, then at least a 10 min demo to show they are getting somewhere. And by "expecting" I mean that's the only things that would keep me hopeful at this point.
The thing is that we don't know how awesome it is, since they don't show us ANYTHING. And until they do, they should stop baiting us with stuff like that. TGS better have something good.
5 hour download from one source, crashes on iPod touch many many times due to lack of RAM. Good thing I didn't buy it :D
