    Hello people of Colorless!

Every day I see amazing new designs online, and wonder just how many I don't see. There is always something to learn from eachother's designs, and this thread is for just that. I'd liek you to post:

    • designs you created
    • designs others have created that you like
    • details about your creative process
    • how you deal with creative blocks
    • who was your greatest inspiration
    • anything marginally related to web design

I am just looking for a bit of inspiration, a bit of learning ,and a bit of fun here. You don't have o be a designer, developer, or even good with computers to post in this thread.

Here's a couple of sites I made while at my last job that I put a lot more thought into the design process than I normally do. I'm especially proud of the CM site, since I tried quite a few new things such as a modified version of Superfish for the menus and dynamic stylesheets using PHP:

Creative Money Check out my alter ego on the 'meet the team' section (at the bottom)

    Thorsdale

And these are a few sites which I enjoy the designs of:

    Well Placed Pixels

Although not strictly web based, well placed pixels shows a wide range of pretty UI's which I occasionally 'borrow' elements from.

    Are you a Human?

As well as being an amazing alternate to CAPTCHAs, the are you a human website also has a lovely, simple design with an awesome footer to boot.

    Wired

Simple, aesthetically pleasing and gives you the info you want without having to look for it. Exactly what you want from a news site. Makes good use of white space.

I'm in a web design class right now, so don't expect anything brilliant. This is probably our 2nd month into it, and he's teaching us how to do frames & forms with HTML 4.1 right now. Hopefully my designs will get better once I get into CSS or something later on.

Here's the project I've been doing for frames. iGLPwpCMnVIZR.bmp
