Will you fall prey to deadly traps or unravel the secrets of LA-MULANA?

LA-MULANA is an “Archaeological Ruin Exploration Action Game” in which you search inside ancient ruins, seeking out the “Secret Treasure of Life” – which sleeps in the sprawling ruins of “LA-MULANA” and is said to be the beginning of all civilization. Apart from the plethora of traps lying in wait to stop intruders, there are also monsters on the prowl, protecting the ruins. Head for the innermost depths of the ruins while solving a variety of mysteries, fending off monsters, and disarming traps. Forging ahead will be no simple task – the further into the depths you reach, the more difficult the mysteries become.

Please consider this game to be our challenge to you.

Play through the entire game till your fingers bleed, give up and throw it out the window, or get help from strategy guides. The choice is yours.

This game.... This damn game! Honestly, it kicks ass, in more ways than one. But when you make good progress, it feels so damn satisfying. I'd actually go as far as to say that La-Mulana is for modern platformers what Dark Souls is for action rpgs.

Go get it, its only $14.99 / 13,99€, and may take you way upwards of 20 hours to really beat for the first time, with completionists clocking in between 50 and 80 hours. Ain't bad, am I right?

I watched you die a couple hundred times from the stream earlier. I definitely wouldn't be able to progress in this game. Ever. The rat bomb pig thingies look cute and the bats look like zubats.

Looks interesting. Gotta say, I wasn't really interested from hearing you talk about it in chat, but video made me change my mind. Also, I like that picture... that one reminds me of a time when I was young and made labyrinths on paper... good times those were...

I might get me this one... though, not right now. I just finished Cave Story and I will take a small break from platformers, but I will keep this game in mind.
