Lose yourself in a tale of magic and wonder, where anything is possible and where nothing is quite as it seems: join young Jerry and follow a peculiar white rabbit to the wondrous realm of Mousewood, a land where critters can speak and where mystery abounds.

It is here that Jerry’s dream of being a magician comes true, though a haunting, sinister force casts a long shadow over the forest. Someone offers the residents of Mousewood a deal of their lifetime - tickets to the greatest magic show that the world has ever seen. But the price is steep, as they'll have to stake their most precious possessions and also their lives.

As the shadows grow deeper, the residents of Mousewood have only Jerry to turn to. On an adventure full of laughter and tears, joy and fear, the young boy will face the ultimate trial, leaving behind the world he once knew, and his childhood, too, will become a thing of the past.

    Key Features:

    • Story-driven exploration/adventure: The Night of the Rabbit was conceived, written and designed by Matthias Kempke, who believes that games design is all about creating new worlds to be explored by players.
    • Multi-layered story: it starts out in a light-hearted and funny way, but soon shift to a dramatic and thought-provoking tone over the 20 hours of gameplay.
    • Original character and world design: the animal people who populate the game were originally developed in short stories written by game creator; these stories are included as the in-game bonuses.

    Releases TONIGHT!

The art kind of reminds me of a cross between Toad and Frog and the Brian Jacques books. :D I kind of like how it varies from the norm.

I have played Daedalic quests and they didn't disappoint so far. I was actually waiting for this one too, just didn't know that it would be out today already. Damn, and this is a busy week for me...

Bump. Finished the game. Not all the achievements, but I was there for a story above all.

Nice game. Quite hard, too, in my opinion... felt much less obvious than most other quests. Good setting. I did enjoy the whole fairy-tail feel to the game. And, you know, until the end I was worried if the game would have a happy end or a really sad one. Cause, you know, Daedalic Entertainment games endings might easily go either way.

All in all - time well spent.

Not going to buy it myself anytime soon. Daedalic sadly has a publisher over here in Germany and Austria which demands a 30€ pricetag - as opposed to the $20 price it has outside of Germany, aka Worldwide, or 20€ in the rest of Europe..

Yes, the German version includes the Premium Edition audiobooks and soundtrack, but even that is 5 bucks more expensive than the premium edition elsewhere, and we don't have the standard version for sale at all.

Sure, Germany is the only country which has its own Dub, with English being standard, and the Publisher piled in for German Audio. However, the language is INCLUDED EVERYWHERE. So somebody in France can buy the standard edition for 20€ in France, and still gets the German audio, and could even gift the cheaper version to german users.

    tl;dr
I understand that Daedalic's hands are tied in this, but it still annoys me enough to wait for a good sale. I'd buy over on GOG, but they decided to simply not include the german language at all, like with other Daedalic games, to be able to offer the same $20 price worldwide - and I'd kinda like to have the full thing, especially since the german dubs of Daedalic titles are fairly excellent.
