    Website - Steam - Youtube

The year is 3587. Conflict spans the stars as huge robot armies are locked in an enduring stalemate. In their bid for galactic supremacy, they call upon the most powerful group of mercenaries in the universe: the Awesomenauts!

Awesomenauts is a MOBA fitted into the form of an accessible 3-on-3 action platformer. Head out to the online battlefields together with your friends as an online party or in local splitscreen, and never worry about having to wait for an online match because of drop-in matchmaking!

Devise strategies as you upgrade and customize each character's skills to suit your playing style. Expect new items, features, DLC and Awesomenauts to be added regularly!

    Key Features:

    • Saturday morning is back – 3 on 3 online platforming shooter action with a bright 80's cartoon style
    • It’s a MOBA! – classes, upgrades, creeps, turrets, bases and tactical depth are all present. Awesomenauts adds fast paced platforming gameplay to create a truly unique and accessible MOBA experience
    • The Awesomenauts – take control of an extensive cast of highly customizable Awesomenauts, each with their own attacks and skills.
    • Splitscreen action – Online and offline play with up to 3 players in local splitscreen!
    • Regular updates - Regular additions of new Awesomenauts, balance updates, DLC and more.
    • Don't criticize it, customize it! – hundreds of unique items to beef up your abilities and customize your Awesomenaut to suit your personal playing style!
    • Push it to the limit – Face melting battles across multiple exotic planets and alien spaceships!

Awesomenauts Thread. This is something I'd like to play with CL people, as it is quick (~15 minutes per match), not too stressful to play and simply a hell lot of fun.
Think League of Legends but in 2D, with less clutter, less preplanning and complex character builds, but with loads of entertainment value and flavor.

    The game costs $9.99 / 9,99€, with a 3-Pack going for $19.98 / 19,98€.
Apart from the initial cost, this game won't sell you characters, and it is getting new ones fairly frequently (a new one is supposed to be introduced soon, and judging from the reveal-livestream, she's suitably awesome). Some of the more recent characters are also inspired and voiced by famous interwebz people, like the Yogscast, TotalBiscuit, Ash from Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'? and Jesse Cox. There's also a Creeper (Minecraft) Skin for Clunk.

For another 8+ days, you can pick it up for $1 via the current Humble Bundle 8 - alongside other awesome games!

Other than that, all DLC is either the (awesome) Soundtrack or Skin Packs for the Awesomenauts - and they're pretty damn cool.

@Gargron aye, Humble Bundle 8 has it for a minimum of $1, which everyone interested should be able to afford.
And yeah, I'd definitely be down for some CL multiplayer action here - especially since matches are fairly short. I've seen BGO sessions take much longer than a match of Awesomenauts :'D

I played Awesomenauts for the first time today, at first I wasn't very good at the game. Nevertheless I was intrigued by it all and the perks system. Soon I got the hang of it and tried some of the different characters to get a feel for each of them and their styles. There are so many, with different techniques and powers which is very nice. I encourage everyone one to buy the game, playing with other CL members will make it even better! I could ramble on for quite some time about this game but I will leave it at this:

    Awesomenauts is quite "awesome"

I'm getting this game even though I feel unclean from all the horriblehorrible begging I'm having to do to family members for one of them to at least to give me their card.

@Paratoxical everyone is being cruel and letting me borrow 1$ even though I'll pay it back instantly but I'm hoping of getting it tonight. :I

That VA for Ayla is just too perfect. kjshjkd

    Clunk Miniature

Straight out of Awesomenauts and right onto your desk: Miniature Clunk is ready to rock your eyeballs!

Be the envy of everyone ever by owning one of these very exclusive little statues!

Sporting his newest Vinyl armor, this Clunk miniature stands about 4" tall from base to top. With his exposed Overdrive Engine he is ready to ruin any tabletop or shelfspace you throw at him*!

Disclaimers: Although these shots are based on the model that is used to create the miniatures with, small details may vary in the end result. Please note we need 1,000 pre-orders before we can start production.**
    * Do not actually throw anything at miniature. Why would you even consider this? Y-you monster!
**In the unfortunate and unlikely event we don't reach the pre-order quotum, you'll be fully refunded, minus a 2% cancellation fee.

Holy shit, I SO want one. And one of Lonestar. And Yuri. And Genji. And Vinnie. And Raelynn. And Skolldir. And Froggy motherfuckin' G. And Gnaw.
Let's hope they get enough positive feedback - and preorders - to start this train!

Preordering Clunk here costs $29.99 / 23,99€ - a fair price, if you ask me. That's usually less than a figma or Nendoroid.

    Clunk is now in production!

And we've got a new character in Beta:

He's pretty fun to play. You can try him in the current Beta by opening the Properties window on the Awesomenauts entry in your Steam library, going to the Beta tab and unlocking it with the password "HappyBetaToYou".

Swiggins does not have a voice in the game yet, but we already know that Clint Hackleman, aka Myndflame, will be voicing him. Take that, PewPissGuy fans!

I'll force @PureBoredom to play Awesomenauts with me, but we need 4 more people to join in, to fill the teams.

Sign up now. Post here if you're interested.
The game might get streamed on the CL Channel for the rest of you to watch.

I know a few people here own the game thanks to Humble, and the game's not expensive to begin with, so just pick it up.

We want to take Awesomenauts to the next level, with characters, features, a new map, and more! Join us to make this happen!

Do you want more Awesomenauts? More characters, more modes, more features, more MORE? So do we!

We are ready to take the Awesomenauts you know and love to the next level, but we need your help to get there. Help us make Awesomenauts the ultimate indie MOBA by supporting this Kickstarter for Awesomenauts: Starstorm!

Awesomenauts is the coolest project we have ever worked on. It is amazing to see all of these players come together and form such a dedicated community that is growing to this day. Because of this we have been able to add new characters, features and a new map. We even reached out to the community for skin and balance ideas, and created a brand new character with you: the upcoming Admiral Swiggins!

Now, we have done all that can be done within the current confinements of the game. In order to truly bring Awesomenauts to the next level, we would like to add features that require much more time and effort than we have currently allocated for it. You, our community, have already been so involved in the shaping of Awesomenauts into what it is today, and now you can help us take it to the next step. Help us fund Awesomenauts: Starstorm!

    > * Ted McPain was one of the great heroes of the first AI Wars, a long time ago. Long after his eventual heroic demise, he lived on as he became the star of various video games: Ted McPain I through XVII, Ted McPain: Zombie Blast, Ted McPain vs. Evil Ted McPain and Ted McPain Unicorn Dance Karting. Now Voltar managed to re-materialize Ted. The Ted McPain that appeared, though, was missing his pants for unknown reasons. * Like a true hero, Ted McPain caries several guns. He can switch between those during combat to vary the manner in which he delivers destruction. * Class: Brawler

    • Sentry is a robot built for infiltration, fooling enemy troops by mimicking anything from an umbrella to a phone booth. After re-activating aboard the Starstorm and finding it overrun by hostile mercenaries, Sentry chose to join them undercover. Biding his time to exact revenge, gathering enough Solar to buy a very serious tank. One with a shark printed on the front!
    • Sentry can activate his shield to collect damage, shooting it back at his opponents when the shield ends.
    • Class: Tank

    • Skree, the powerful but superstitious techno shaman, found himself all alone on an abandoned space station: the Starstorm, filled with mighty looking robots. Thinking the disabled robots were gods, he spent his time collecting different parts of the battle station to create shrines for them. While connecting robot parts and machine scraps to form huge robotic statues and altars, he accidentally activated the mainframe of the Starstorm, re-powering the entire battle station! Frightened by his now activated robotic gods, Skree decided he didn't want to worship them anymore. What better way to travel the universe in search of new spirit-gods, than to join the Awesomenauts?
    • When Skree positions his board on the ground, he becomes invisible for several seconds. Then the board rushes straight back to him, damaging everything in its way.
    • Class: Assassin

Ted McPain, Sentry X-58 and Skree have all lived through parts of the Starstorm story, so they will have special voice lines for when they encounter each other in battle.

All characters will also be added to the Playstation 4 version of the Starstorm expansion.

Needless to say, I'd totally kill for the $10,000 Cakemantium Tier Rewards:
