A new breed of WARRIOR returns, committed to destroying the enemies of FREEDOM When ONE angry man, has a world to protect - There is only ONE future – HIS OWN

No-nonsense hero Marlow never shied away from danger or trouble. But now he faces his ULTIMATE challenge. After crash-landing in Central America, he has an industrial evil to defeat whilst bound to an ancient Mayan Death Mask who’s had no-one to talk to for 2000 years. Another day at the office only this time Marlow is PUSHED TO THE LIMIT , his sweetheart has been abducted, the bad guys are making up their own rules and only one man can judge them – and EXECUTE THE SENTENCE .

Fearlessly fighting through Mayan temples and towering valleys, monstrous machinery, nothing, but nothing, will stand in the way of this bad ass warrior, his girl and the crushing of all opposition.

They told him to go to HELL, he was DEAD ready.

With cliffhanger over the top action and cinematic gameplay, Marlow Briggs takes inspiration from the best of blockbuster films, comic book heroes, and action games with its focus on relentless high-octane combat, exotic and danger filled environments and epic set pieces.

DC's actually just still laughing and thus cannot concentrate on making a good thread. It's that good.

I'm not the one mentioned, but I will post. For now I only tested the game out, 'cause I still need to finish Batman first, but fuck... I did one level. I seriously do not think there was something left on that level that didn't get blown up. Hell... this is like an uninterrupted roller-coaster ride with fireworks.
The graphics aren't exactly as good as some major games of the genre, but they look adequate. And the game just takes the good stuff from the genre and uses it with proper light-heartedness. So yeah, it's a game well done, and I will play it after I clear up my gaming time.

I've only had time to play Marlow Briggs for about an hour last night; Consequently, what I can say about the game is that it certainly does make light of the situation. The small jokes from the mask, the deadly persistence of our protagonist as he pursues his captured girlfriend, and the lack of too dark of an atmosphere all come together to make certainly one hell of a game.

Story and character wise, I have no qualms. On the subject of gameplay however, there are some minor difficulties. The use of magic seems awkward with the use ctrl+# keys to use it. It makes it awkward to cast spells quickly in my opinion. Lucky for me, I'm not prone to using magic. Swinging a big weapon around while combo-ing to kill my enemies certainly leaves me with a feeling not unfamiliar to big titles such as Devil May Cry.

All in all, from my hour experience with the game, it certainly seems like an entertaining piece of work that could be worth the attention of those who have yet to buy it.

Ah, the usual keyboard controls problem. I'm using my DualShock 2 PS2 pad with an USB adapter emulating the X360 pad, and it works like a charm. But those games always have problems translating well to keyboard and mouse, sadly.

Btw, did anybody else love how Marlow's girlfriend is writing notes to him and is all cool with the bad guy "promising her not to hurt her family", so she really doesn't mind doing the stuff for him after all? I mean, she even tells Marlow TO STOP FOLLOWING HER! I thought that was hilarious.

I'll be the first person to post after this post. it looks like one of the games you actually want to pay for and not get it for free.
