Yes, this is for real. Yes, you feel bad for not making this any time sooner, and yes you probably feel pretty happy this exists now. And you should. Now, let's get on to the beef of this thread:

    -Game Of Thrones-

First things first, here are a few stuff:

    • This is mainly for the people who watch the show, so please no book spoilers.
    • Apparently there still people who haven't caught up yet, so they're free to come, but they are getting spoiled nonetheless, as even though this is general, I feel this thread is more appropriate to people currently up-to-date, but just so we are nice let's try and use spoilers if we feel the stuff we're talking about are too specific and may ruin the surprise and thrill for people who are still yet to catch up.
    • I have written a few stuff for you new people trying to get into the show so read it if you would like.

Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, the first of which is titled A Game of Thrones. Filmed in a Belfast studio and on location elsewhere in Northern Ireland, Malta, Scotland, Croatia, Iceland and Morocco, it premiered on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011. Two days after the fourth season premiered in April 2014, HBO renewed Game of Thrones for a fifth and sixth season

Here's the short version: Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families.

What makes this series so hard to summarize is that it's told from the point-of-view of a lot of different characters, and each and every character has a different story but also, still no clear main character at all. The story is in constant change, but the original theme is there, there's a lot of gore and nudity, so if you're not into that stuff don't watch this show. If I had to say, this show is kind of unusual in the fact that for four seasons straight, it still hasn't shown any sign of who is the hero and who isn't, because everyone after all is the same, trying to fight and win to become the king or queen. It is filled with lies, deception, thriller, action, and a lot of fantasy creatures like Dragons and the sort, so again it may not be your cup of tea.

So come on, let's talk Game Of Thrones guys! And I'll be leaving you with something to leave this thread happy about:

Now, let's move on to the actual show:

Season 4 is now here for like 3 weeks, It's been full of good action so far, had a couple of great unexpected moments, The best moment so far is Joffrey's death, and still has my favorite characters getting their own development, everyone is getting it to be honest and the show is moving along nicely, I'm just really interested to find out more about Tyrion, and how his plot is going to move along from here, and Khaleesi is having her own army and followers marching with increased numbers, it's just too much. I can't wait till next week, and I honestly think a character we don't really pay as much attention to is Arya, she has had a great story and development so far, and in this season she appears to be going through some more stuff. Joffrey's killer though, I have a feeling I know who killed him, but It can seriously go longways till we know for certain and how much we can see this certain point move.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Official Trailer

Here are some scenes that are to be carefully evalutated:

Bolton Army vs what seems to be the Stark Army

A close up of Tormund, though if you look behind him there are Bolton shields from the previous picture facing him, implying that the wildlings do IN FACT aid the Stark Army against the Boltons to retake Winterfell.

As revealed from leaked photos several months ago we can see a man dressed in the standard Stark Armor whose stance, beard, and hair are very similar to that of Jon Snow. Does that mean Jon really will be revived and aid in the joint Stark/Wildling army against the Boltons?

Here's a photo that shows what seems to be Jon riding a horse into battle

Now if you're all caught up and have watched all 5 seasons you know very well the fate of Jon Snow. Though in the season 6 trailer it shows Ser Davos, and a small portion of the night's watch, along with a calm Ghost readying for battle with Davos reaching for Jon's Valyrian Steel sword "Longclaw".

Why are they readying you ask? At around 1:00 into the season 6 trailer it shows Allister Thorne and the rest of the members that partook in the stabbing of Jon Snow trying to break into a room. I suppose Davos is preserving Jon's body so that the Red Woman may revive him.

We also get a glimpse of Bran Stark, seemingly deep into a vision, of the Night's King clearly looking at him. As if he's telling Bran that time is almost up and the Others, along with their wights, are nearing the wall.

The trailer also hints at a flashback episode of the "Tower of Joy", in which a Young Eddard Stark along with Howland Reed and a few other Stark Bannermen engage in a battle against Ser Arthur Dayne, Jaime Lannister's mentor and was a Kingsguard to Rhaegar Targaryen, clad in Targaryen armor wielding dual blades against the Stark men to protect Lyanna Stark.

Now here's my theory regarding the Stark storyline:

Melisandre, otherwise widely known as the "Red Woman", revives the heavily guarded Jon Snow and leaves the wall with both Melisandre and Davos. They make their way to rally the Northerners and Wildlings to retake Winterfell gaining knowledge that Osha and Rickon Stark, the youngest Stark, are taking refuge within House Umber. After sending Davos to acquire the "Reckless Wolf" Jon ends up finding Brienne of Tarth and Podrick Payne, whom seemingly rescues Theon Greyjoy and Sansa Stark from Bolton men on the outskirts of Winterfell as depicted in the season 6 trailer, and reunites with both Sansa and Rickon. After the battle, if nothing goes wrong, Jon and Sansa confront Ramsay(as leaked information of a scene with Sansa and Jon talking to Ramsay in Winterfell) and execute him afterwards leaving either Sansa or Rickon the title as "Lord of Winterfell". Bran wargs into a soldier and warns Jon of the incoming attack on the wall by the Others and presses Jon to make his way to the wall.

I apologize if my writing is a bit sloppy and doesn't make any sense but that's my two cents on what will happen with the Stark Storyline in season 6.

    @Dark-B good shit

bump because what a satisfying season finale? i'm days late but whatever, even. i appreciate the condensation of content in s6 even if it askews time. it's a lot more engaging and im SO excited for season 7. i want to know where the greyjoy-targ relationship goes ;) want to see two queens of westeros tbh

season 7 predictions are jon finds out about his true parentage but this causes a rift in the north because he's lyanna's son but what claim does he have tbh. she was just a pretty face in the north, like kit harrington is bound to be. sansa marries jon to strengthen his claim, baelish dies finally.

Time for Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers!!!!!

NOTE: Hover over images to view them

For those who have watched Season 6, the cliffhanger they left us with showed Danaery's Targaryen Sailing along with Varys, Tyrion, Theon, Yara, the Sandsnakes, as well as Olenna Tyrell. At last Danaerys is making her way to Westeros with a united front, but wait ... where in Westeros is she sailing?

Below is a leaked image showing Dothraki who have seemed to reach a shoreline in which Stark soldiers are present along with the "King in the North", as well as his right hand man Davos Seaworth. It would appear as though Jon had arranged to meet with them prior to them washing ashore. (Looks like Jon finally has a royal escort, somewhat of a "Kingsguard").

Now we all know that a meeting between Jon and Danaerys was bound to happen, though who would've thought it'd be this soon? This image shows that Danaerys, Tyrion, and what appears to be Jorah Mormont on the top section, have come to an agreement or created an alliance for the time being. Glad to see the return of Jorah "Friendzone" Mormont!

Towards the end of Season 5 and during Season 6 Theon finally seems to have regained what was lost back in season 3, his balls. After killing Ramsay's "bootycall" and safely escorting Sansa through the wolfswood, which eventually led to Brienne and Podrick Payne saving the duo, Theon stated he was "going home". After reuniting with his sister, proclaiming Yara as the rightful heir to the salt throne, and stealing the iron fleet from Euron, Theon and Yara create an alliance with Danaerys and set sail to Westeros. Though as Theon himself said to Sansa, "Nothing can change what i've done: Betraying the North and Robb" he's somewhat right. As we all know, the North SOMEWHAT remembers!

Below shows a confrontation between Theon and Jon. Jon seems to be threatening Theon or is scolding him on his betrayal and is questioning Theon's position as a "potential ally". Nevertheless it's great to see a reunion between the two considering they haven't seen each other since season 1 episode 1.

Maisie Williams was captured in Northern Ireland getting ready to go on set with an entirely new set of clothing. Compared to her clothing from the past seasons she seems to have geared up for the coming storm, or should I say ... SNOW. Arya Stark seems to have acquired "Noble clothing" that we have seen all the Stark children wear. We last saw Arya feeding Walder Frey a pie of his own making(literally), which was actually Walder's sons carved up, and killing Walder by slicing his throat. Arya being at the twins shows that she is making her way back home to Winterfell, but I guess this picture can confirm that she reunites with her siblings.

Ellie Kendrick was spotted on set in Northern Ireland as well dressed in her Wildling attire. Is it safe to assume her and Bran made it back past the wall and to Winterfell? Grenn held the gate, Hodor held the door, but can Ed hold the Wall? At least until the North is ready.

With the bastard of the dreadfort dead and the bastard of Winterfell becoming King, what about that other bastard from season 3? What was his name, the one everyone seems to have forgotten about? That's right, after rowing his boat for about 3 seasons he finally seems to have reached some shores. Shores that, ultimately, is the worst place he could've wound up on: King's Landing. Joe Dempsie had been spotted having dinner and on set with the game of thrones crew and cast.

Below shows Gendry along with Tyrion and Davos either docking or leaving before two Gold Cloaks show up, Gendry depiciting a younger King Robert Baratheon doesnt help in this situation, Tyrion being the Dwarf that killed his father doesn't either. It appears as if though the Gold Cloaks wish to apprehend Tyrion and Gendry but before so, Davos tries to distract or bribe them with something. While Davos distracts them Gendry seems to pull something out of the boat, an indication of his Nobility and shows he is the son of his father Robert Baratheon, a Warhammer. Gendry then proceeds to take out the Gold Cloaks with ease.
