    The music made this game for me. Never did get a complete perfect play-through though... couldn't ever catch the beetles needed to catch the fish ;.;

    They actually bothered animating Adachi properly and the rest of the cast, color me shocked. It's better animated this time around, thank god.

    It'll be a good time waster, though I do secretly hope they animate Adachi's S-link since it reveals more about him, etc. I mean he is the killer and they barely went over his character in the original anime.

    That's very true. Persona 4 (compared to 3), took leaps and bounds in terms of aesthetics (persona 4 golden, persona 3 FES). The characters/plot wasn't nearly as enjoyable to me though. Overall, I still had to put 3 as my favorite. There's just something about 3 that makes me want to know everything about that world, and all the links.

    Anyone else starting to get psyched for 5?

    Atlus has my undying love for making the best dialogue tree option canon http://i.imgur.com/CZSLjLb.png?1

    Now if they would only remember that Eternal Punishment and Devil Summoners exist in the P3/P4 world and drop those into their endless crossovers...

    So Narukami was shown as much more badass than in the first Anime. Fuck, I'd go as far as to call him massively overpowered. He's totally on a New Game+ run!

    The animation quality is definitely a step above the other anime, and I quite liked how they handled the rehash by spinning scenes a bit and adding the different angle.

    Which of course harkens back to Margaret's introduction, about the golden days and looking at things from another angle.

    I just finished watching it and was expecting it to be the same as the first, and oh boy was I totally wrong. Even though I have not played the game myself, I have watched the 1st version of the anime. And I gotta say, everything looks better in this version. Even the fight scenes looks more bad ass. I am definitely adding this to my "Anime to watch this season" list.

    I just watched episode 2 and was laughing very frequently throughout this one.

    The pacing was great, the whole thing very dynamic, and my god the comedy was spot on. Great stuff! We also got the actual OP/ED sequences this time:

    Episode 2 was amazing. Do you actually do those things at the same time in the game? Because I only did the pickup thing and not the others ? (maybe NG+?)

    Wouldn't surprise me if they decided to combine both choices for the benefit of the anime. It worked out really well in this case, so I'm glad they did it this way!

    I really think this Yu is much, much, much better then the previous anime. (He's also definitely newgame+ Yu.) I always imagined that Yu would be a smart snarky weirdo, not some airhead.

    I don't mind this being more slice of life, really one of Persona 4's strongest points is it's characters and how great they are.

    They actually animated part of Adachi's S-Link, which is really surprising. Also, they somewhat confirmed the accomplice ending? Maybe?? There's a spark of hope for it ok. ;_;

    Don't worry about that. As long as it ain't obvious spam, nobody's gonna mind.

    Started watching this since I finally beat the game and decided that I could go through with it. This is reminding me of how I'm doing my NG+ run.

    And handshakes for everyone.

    I'm really shocked they animated Adachi's S-Link. They gave him far more depth than in P4. What really shocked me is that they animated him back in his high school and college days, that was never in P4G's game, but I welcome it. It also raised a similarity between Yu and Adachi. Remember how in Yu's flashback when he was transferring to his new school, it was all gloomy and Yu looked almost depressed? It's similar to Adachi when he was in high school.

    I'm guessing here, but I don't think Yu had any friends back in his old high school. Basically; if he hadn't have met his current friends he'd likely turn out like Adachi. idk why but I've always liked these protag and villain similarities.

    It's also confirmed that Adachi truly did care about Yu, Dojima, and Nanako. Especially Nanako, he regrets getting her involved if the implications are right. Don't get me wrong, he's a piece of shit, but if he likes Nanako then no one else should fff.

    Oh and he kept his glasses all the way to P4AU2, now that's impressive I can't even keep track of one pair of glasses.
