However, when he is wrongfully accused of murdering someone close to him, Satoru is sent back to the past once again, but this time to 1988, 18 years in the past. Soon, he realizes that the murder may be connected to the abduction and killing of one of his classmates, the solitary and mysterious Kayo Hinazuki, that took place when he was a child. This is his chance to make things right.

Boku dake ga Inai Machi follows Satoru in his mission to uncover what truly transpired 18 years ago and prevent the death of his classmate while protecting those he cares about in the present.

Kayo is love. Kayo is life. So here is my favorite Ilya Kuvshinov's illustration of this QT.

worst Mystery, Psychological, Seinen with the worst time jump power ever. if i were to compare this bullshit anime with music , i would say this is the nicky minaj anime version.

problably we will never get an anime as good as Monster.

I like the OP - it transitioned to ala Gintama style, but anyways:

    KAYOOOOOOOOOOOO (Hiromi was weird tho)

@Yugure That OP was totes trolling us! Stroke of genius. I was so sad about it and the first few scenes. I was pretty upset about Kayo and Hiromi tbh.

Will the final episode "fix" everything? Will justice be done?

it's nice how they leave a huge plot hole and the viewer doesn't give a fuck ! who the fuck saved him from dying from drowning or freezing ? his powers are unexplained why did the teacher used a story to inspire for his crimes? crimes that he did not had the chance to do them after all his victims were taken away ? Hiromi and kayo, now that's random as fuck. Why was he acting like a retard in a 10 yrs old body with the mind of 29 yrs old?

When you're getting older and discovering different angles of this world you tend to think nothing can amaze you the way it did when you were a kid.

But the thing is, you're stunningly wrong. Thanks for this beautiful story you told me and the lesson you taught me. It's so precious.

Wow. This last episode made me so happy.

I'm a big fan of grim-dark stories and tragic endings. I often feel robbed when something delivers a saccharin sweet and contrived finish that doesn't feel earned by the characters or appears forced. But with Erased it was different. It was proper. Especially that last scene.

I will miss this but I am glad it played out as it did and that it really took us all with it, feels and all.

Also, I loved the music so much to this!

sorry pal, the drama looked forced, there are so many plot holes, the way that it tries so much to pull out some emotions from the viewers is so fukin desperate, the adaptation is disgusting by all means. This anime doesn't deserve it score and neither it's hype.

About the music , u should listen to AKG.more. songs from them were in alot of animes and movies.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion but I disagree.

It was an enjoyable story and delivered well. Yes, there were some plot holes but easy to overlook in context of great audience engagement, nice characters, and an overall pretty tight production.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it but that's kinda your problem I guess.

what was the story again? If that was a great story and if those plot holes were easy to overlook, even thou their should've been explained, the great audience that does that are just simple idiots, nice characters? yea totally .... overall a shiet production and this anime doesn't deserve it's hype, but well it does... like Rihanna videos deserve 100 milion views, so is this anime. But keep in mind thats your taste in anime = equivalent to comercial music in music industry.

Just finished watching this now and omg it was so good. Loved it. Loved calling some of the plot twists before they happened tbh.

This was refreshing anime for me to watch. I will admit it was all rushed through, but definitely an enjoyable and recommended anime to watch.

Boku dake had a pretty nice ost and I loved the ed. It showed the genre how to successfully start a mystery genre anime. I'm not gonna lie, episode 1 was great and continued to be great for a bit. there was incredible scenes that showed the directors skills such as the park scene with satoru and kayo. However despite it's great start boku dake began to get worse as it neared the ending. although it was an adaptation of the manga I wish there was more of a plot twist. the "bad guy" was easy to figure out and his reasoning for his actions was bad. I also thought how they revealed the bad guy was bad too. It strays away from the interesting kayo and satoru scenes to focus on saving side characters that nobody really cares about and finding a killer that was made too obvious. Then again this is just my opinion so w/e and don't get me wrong, I liked boku dake. Overall it's a good anime and perhaps i'm judging it too harshly because of the insane hype surrounding it. 6.7/10 imo

@effect we understand that you didn't like the series, but that doesn't mean that you have to reply to everyone else's posts hating on it. We really don't care, and it's annoying.

i am rightfully justified to criticize a series and correct people, so please stop puttin me in a corner, when i haven't done that.
