Things that only exist in Anime

Oh, I don't know. How about those girls who, while in the process of getting raped, instead of retaliating, they lay there like a limp fish and let the men do whatever they want. ..... The uke if it's yaoi. ... The neko if it's yuri. ........... And the one that's not a futa in Bible Black.

    Also, Guro.

@Plumbum I have gotten first-date BJs before, it's not that hard.

Also, to add onto points about facial anatomy:

It is fairly well known that Tezuka, the "father of anime" and creator of Astro Boy, took a ton of inspiration from Disney cartoons. Hence the over-the-top displays of emotion, large eyes and skinny-as-hell characters.

You also notice that eyes are one of the easiest ways to display emotion in an animated work. Larger eyes only help one express these emotions with ease.

As for overall "copying anatomy of somesort of Caucasian", I'll quote an old friend of mine, a Japanese native.

Well, yeah, they're light as hell. We think higher of the fairer-skinned Asians, and look down on the darker ones such as the Filipinos. Either way, we still think of them as Japanese. Much like you assuming all of the charaters in Captain Planet, Carmen Sandiego, and Teen Titans are American, we assume all characters are Japanese, unless it is someone like

    ">Chibodee Crocket.

@Genepe See? It's all in the skull shape. Every race has different skull shapes and Anime characters are closer to Caucasians than Asians. That pic shows how Japanese people in Anime would look like if drawn properly. (okay, just to add here, some Japanese, not all)

@acostoss Of course they'll assume the characters as Japanese, they have Japanese names, traits, and behaviors. The question is, are they ETHNICALLY Japanese? :p

Oh and Americans can get away with any character really because America is ethnically diverse while Japan isn't; so there's that.

But if everyone's saying that it's impossible to stylize the Japanese people with large eyes, know that everyone's eyes are of the same proportion to their head and the only thing that differentiate them are the features surrounding the eyes.

So, if Anime and Disney are only changing the proportion of the eyes, why change everything else to be more Caucasoid? If you see modern Disney cartoons that depict other ethnicity (like Phineas and Ferb), you can see that they sorta keep the traits of those ethnicity while keeping the big eye thing. Whereas Anime just draw them with Caucasian traits, so what gives?
