The story is set on Okinawa's isolated island of Iwado, which has seen a growing movement advocating a return to an autonomous government. Ao Fukai, a 13-year-old boy with a missing father, lives on the island with an old doctor named Toshio and is about to enter middle school. Ao's mother was taken away a decade ago by unknown individuals. Naru Arata, Ao's 13-year-old childhood friend and the story's heroine, lives with her father, older sister, and grandmother. She has a "Yuta" power awakened within her due to an incident when she was young.

A mysterious entity called "Secret" suddenly appears and launches an attack on the Scub Coral lifeform on the island. Ao launches a certain military FP called "Nirvash" aboard a Japanese military transport in his fervent desire to protect the island.

Only 2 chapters of the manga have been scanalated so far. I don't know about how many are out there raw right now, but Mangastream is usually pretty on the ball as far as scanning as releasing goes, so it's quite possible only two chapters have actually been released so far.

As for the series itself, the story pacing seems quite fast, but it's definitely interesting. I'm excited to see where it goes.

    @Anemone1 it's said to be a sequel, not a spin-off.

    with a missing father

mother was taken away a decade ago by unknown individuals

Ao launches a certain military FP called "Nirvash"

I can assume he is Eureka's son xD

@Ecstasy: true, true. I just wanted to know how they are going to connect the same appearance and relationship between Eureka and Ao. I probably believe we are all going to be shocked.

Hey I found this pic just now... this seems like the other supporting characters that'll be in the anime. Although they are only three of them revealed and Ao.

and another also. Well this one is just frontal view of the characters.

Well being the Eureka SeveN fan I am I will be checking this out.

Though as usual there's the doubt as to whether this can be as good or better then the original.

Please surprise me and make it a memorable experience. Too bad it's not going to run for a year like the original either....

@Anemone1 I certainly hope it isn't 12 episodes -___- 26 is a possiblity but what I REALLY hoped would be it'd be as long as the original. They could split it into two seasons like 00 and Geass....

@ImagineBreaker: So it would be 50 episodes long like the first season? Well I hope that if they do make it a 50 long episode series, they follow the manga this time. In the original Eureka Seven, they didn't follow it at all.

@Anemone1 that's what I hoped at least. Not cutting it in half like Darker Than Black's 2nd season.

It's not really adapting the manga. It's more like a promotion. Though it's better to say they're all part of the same thing since its getting an anime, manga and game all around the same time. Just like Gundam Age.....the manga kinda reminds me of Higanbana which started before the main project (here it was a game) but it finished the story before the manga.

Sorry if this is confusing. I'll try to explain anything that sounds confusing.

@ImagineBreaker: It's alright. I would have to say though that they did better at ending the anime unlike how they did in the manga. If they tried to do the same ending as the manga, everyone would be EXTREMELY dissapointed.
