I think there should be a list you can click on to see which people are in the chatrooms. I believe now there's only a list of the people who are in the same room as yours but not for every room
On the old CL, when your friends were listed as online on the front page, I do believe it used to tell you which chatroom they were in.
I miss that feature :'D
i guess sound would be good but after few min it would turn i most annoying thing, because if there is about 30 post/min it we be like : 'dindindindidn' ... just my opinion
Okay this idea sucks, dont read it.
Well, seeing that some us have long usernames or are never really ever referred to by our real usernames on /main I thought it would be nice to have something where we are pinged or have the box glow when we are called nicknames.
For example, DarkChaplain. Most people don't want to formally use '@' so they call him DC or Chappy or DaCha when wanting to casually talk and if he is in a different tab, he will not be notified when someone is referring to him. And for someone with even more nicknames I think it would be even more beneficial.
Also, user someone and T. The word "someone" is fairly used in /main and it would help if he were notified by his IRL name, Perry, which a good number of users call him. Moving on to user, T, who is notified anytime the letter T is typed, would benefit from being able to turn the notifications off completely or only be notified by a name of his choice, possibly, Watermelon.
Basically, most likely located in the settings, I'd like to see an option where we can add names to a list of things we would like to be notified by in /main. Am I making sense?

There are probably a lot of flaws in this suggestion so it might not even be considered but I just wanted to throw it out there. I think it would be a nice thing to have. I'm not sure if it is even possible. If anyone else spots flaws or has anything to add to it please feel free to.

I think that when a new person enters chat, the Pokemon battle music should come on and they should battle one of the current people on chat for souls and humanity.
