Anyway, I like long hair both on men and women (on lesbians too). Messy short haircuts look fine on some people (even on lesbians), but not too short, maybe about 10 cm length at least. Can be shorter on sides, though. And some people look good without hair at all (lesbians too).

At least shoulder-length. Any shorter and you look like a lesbian.

Weird, I associate shoulder-lengths as hardline feminists.

As for me, I prefer a certain hair which in men's measurement is medium-medium long (while in women's measurement it's short) OR any length that has gone past the shoulders. Anything below is lesb, in the middle, feminists, at the high end, witch.

There are exceptions of course because well...

I'm not trying to be mean here, but you must be really slow or really into anime in an unhealthy way to connect hair styles with personality traits.

I actually thought you were talking about guy's hair, first! The thing is, I know girls who prefer guys with long, metalhead hair, and I know girls who prefer guys with shorter hair. I myself prefer it when my view is not hairblocked, but I'm so lazy to go to the barber that it usually grows pretty long.

Now, as for girls: Either can be sexy. Depends on other things!

I usually like people whose hairstyles match or compliment their features and face structure.

For example a person with a too long forehead shouldn't wear a ponytail because that kind of feature becomes the center of attention, instead this person could get some sort of bangs to hide the excess area.

Another example is that if a person who has chubby face structure and wants to look more slim this person could grow long hair on both sides to line the center of his/her face. Short hairstyle usually fits for a person who has a doll-like and slender face.

Also the hair color is important, i.e. mahogany reveals the beauty of green/blue eyes. e u e

I like short hair on girls, but it really depends on the person. Some people can do short, some can't. It's all about what you do with it. One size doesn't fit all, it's not like short OR long hair looks good on all people.

I always liked long hair, there's just something about long beautiful hair that rustles my jimmies. Not that I have anything against short hair either... Oh decisions decisions

i usually like longer hair mroe, although i dont necessraily disliek short hair; there are soem who look good with it, but it depends on the overall face.i also disliek it when the forehead is too exposed, i dotn know why. i dotn have any special opinion regardign ponytails (im growign my hair out so im wearing one myself) but i like braids and twintails, hm~ unfortunately my girlfriend ha spretty short hair and i dotn think sh ehas th face for it, i always tell her she hsould at least let it grow shoudler-length.. its also a strange feeling for a guy to have longer hair than your own girlfriend, geh.
