SHIT MAN SO MANY EMOTIONS
LIN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
And right after that... DANTE YEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
I miss Iroh ;____; He was such a nice guy oh god I feel like rewatching A:TLA
@DSP not sure whether to be glad that its an hour special next week or if to rage that its end season.
Woot Zuko's son. But if he's an admiral, who's in charge of fire country? His brother or is Zuko still alive?
Also, maybe Korra can re-bend people's powers back?
I'm just doing this now, since LoK's finale has aired today and everything. And because I wanna bump this thread~
On another note, FUCK MAKO. FUCK THAT CHEATING WHORE. I HOPE KORRA DUMPS HIS ASS SECOND SEASON.
This guy

and
This guy

His reaction;

Were the highlights for the last episode for me. I don't hate Mako, but WTF. That was a cop-out. Pretty much most of this episode was just a bunch of anti-climatic cop outs linked together, in pure gross cop out matrimonial harmony. Season 2 has a lot on its plate, in terms rectification and clarification of some shit.
Totally called it on Amons Secret
I'm screaming help me. for a more a accurate reaction please see here
Don't know about you guys but I already love this guy so much.
He reminds me of myself.
@Lycan I wonder if he's an earthbender?
I FUCKING HOPE HE IS
But what are they going to do for season 2? How will the next villain out-villain the fabulousness that is Amon? Stay tuned next time on LOK!
Bumi isn't an Earthbender. He's not a bender at all. He's the odd one out of Aang and Katara's kids.
Sorry to burst any bubbles...
Bumi, Iroh, and Asami all made this episode. Yup yup yup.
I love Iroh and Bumi though.
I hate to say it, but wow it was terrible.
Okay, after watching ATLA finale... that scene where Korra magically learns how to spirit bend from Aang makes A LOT more sense now. It's the only thing that makes sense in that scene, actually.
Since Aang already knows how to spirit bend, he obviously can pass it onto the next Avatar, Korra in other words. He teaches her exactly the same way as the lion turtle taught him.
And... I THINK the Lion Turtle is in the spirit world too?! I don't know for sure, but it's too damn big to hide for centuries without being noticed so. (It also explains how Aang was able to connect with the other Avatars on the lion turtle.)
It makes sense that Korra learned how to spirit bend in the spirit world, in other words.
The other stuff however? UHHHHH YEAH THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE BRYKE, NICE TRY.
(Copy and pasted from my Tumblrrrr.)
It feels as if the creators meant for it to end at season 1 judging by the last 2 minutes of the episode. If it wasn't for the ending, I think season 2 would start off a lot more interesting (on the other hand, I was surprised by a few of the outcomes and this does mean I'm not bouncing off the walls wondering what will happen next).

My first and last contribution to this thread.
I just finished The Last Airbender and it was really good. I was a bit sceptical of it at first and Aangs first line ("will you go Pinguin sliding with me") was really not a good first impression. It was over the top random and gave me the exact same feeling his grandchildren would give me later. The Avatar series seems to be a master of giving horrible first impressions since I just started watching Legend of Korra and three episodes in, I still have mixed feelings.
Korra and Mako is basically Katara x Zuko which, thank god, wasn't a thing in The Last Airbender. Korra is a combination of Katara and Toph, Mako is Zuko, Bolin is Sokka, Pabu and Naga is Momo and Appa. Nothing new. They are just taunting me that my favorite character is fucking dead. Sokka fo life, bro.
I don't like the cars and city stuff, I don't like the little grandson of Aang, I don't like how (seemingly) every firebender can create lightning, nor do I like the fact that it seems every bender can bend without much effort. Even Korra could use three elements at the age of, what, six? I am also very butthurt over the fact that almost everyone died on me over the five minutes it took me to start watching LOK. Cries in a corner
Still, I love the quality of the animation and stuff like that. I'm just getting used to the changes, I guess. I'll continue watching and see if I change my mind about this.
@Noodle It doesn't.
