@InsaneBoredGame: None of the challenges are going to be that sort of "questionable". Even if some of them are to you, you'll always have the option to skip any of them.

How about filming yourself scoring a penalty kick or doing basketball shots or hitting baseballs? I think most of the challenges are less 'Olympics' and more 'Jackass' like @Ecstasy said or talent contests.

The cartwheel contest is a nice idea but it's the only one of its kind on the list unfortunately.

If your hang up is the fact that it's called 'Olympics', I imagine that @Decae was simply looking for an interesting name/title in order to generate interest. I doubt it was meant to be taken so literally.
That's not to say we can't have more sports oriented challenges. As was said, you can recommend these things and people can vote for them.

I just wanted a contest with odd challenges that everyone can do. Not many people here will be willing to do physical activities rather than weird "Minute to Win It" kind of activities.

And the idea is just what I think 'Olympics' supposed to be. After all, special Olympics aren't about disabled people eating wasabi but rather they are doing something that is sport-oriented. I wasn't pointing out at any part of any text in the world other than that the idea of the Olympics is about sporty things. Isn't this something that is pretty much common knowledge by now?
And I'm not really bothered with this being called 'Olympics'. It's just that I want to see more Olympic-y stuff in something that is called 'Olympics'. And that's why I'm trying to suggest more sports stuff because those are the stuff I wanna see.
Yeah, I wish there'd be more physical challenges. Preferably something that people want to do and is accessible to everyone. Maybe something like a re-enactment of the Rocky sequence?

There's no need for that. It doesn't matter whether you state that it's your opinion or not. It's inflammatory and unnecessary.
I mean, other users are obviously looking forward to those events as evidenced by the poll. For someone unable to participate in more sporty type events, for whatever the reason, those things would be fun for them.
My point being, just because you don't like the options doesn't mean you need to rain on anyone else's parade. Simply make your suggestions and let that be the end of it.
But anyway, I'll leave it alone. @Decae can defend his own thread. Plus we should get back to the point of the thread, having a fun competition.

Besides stupidity and passiveness aren't inherently bad. Just that I personally think that for something called 'Olympics' they seem pretty out of place is all.
For suggestions: I've also been thinking something like Hurdles or High Jumps. How about something like 'Jumping the Shark' where you jump over a shark? (Would be great if the shark is real but a silly shark representation might be alright I think). Or how about filming yourself jumping off a flight of stairs (not too high of course)? (This one was pretty famous in elementary school)
Or how about the exciting, trying to hit the camera from a distance where you try to hit the camera from a distance?
