I found this.. one shot anime.. I'll post the summary I found on it in a second but it is called.. Computer Kakumei: Saikyou x Saisoku no Zunou Tanjou Genre: Sci-Fi Episodes: 1 Type: Special Series Age Rating: Everyone

The anime short Computer Kakumei was aired by the Japanese public broadcaster NHK as part of a TV special. The near-future anime was conceived by Parasite Eve author Hideaki Sena, and it depicts how ubiquitous computers have transformed life's various aspects in 2020 Tokyo. The story is told through the eyes of a high school senior named Mako.

I wasn't exactly sure what it was about.. but I watched it anyway thinking it would be cool to see some weird futuristic inventions when in actuality.. they were pretty amazing and.. mostly practical inventions.. I was just wondering what anyone elses take on this anime was.. especially if you would want to know how much longer you had left to live or about the virtual students.. I don't think there would ever be robotic cashiers because people want jobs but who knows..

My take on this, is that robotic cashiers won't be made yet because of the huge protest that WILL happen. If i were a cashier replaced for robotic one , i'll raise hell for sure e_e.

For those who are having some difficulty with the link supplied in the opening post, I strongly suggest viewing the following copy that was uploaded as unlisted on Youtube. Considering that this series is not yet licensed in the United States of America, linking to anime series is permitted, but not recommended.

The following video is not subtitled in English though. Viewers who are not used to listening to Japanese language speech, may have some trouble getting through its entirety.

On another note, I am thrilled to read about this being directed by no other than Parasite Eve's author, Hideaki Sena. I think this may interest @MyogiWarrior34 as much as it calls out to me. :D

Well for one alot of this tech will be in japan including robots for cashiers.Let me explain alil alot of pl in japan meaning the adults want there kids to grow up and go into tech they groom them for it.The other thing is if this was everywhere else it might not work so well.Of course it would work for the company hell saves money all they got to do is maintain the robots and there good.

But I think it will be very hard for that system to work outside japan.Matter affect they already have robots doing stuff like that now but if robots were to replace humans the economy in the states would be huge let alone all over.unless there is a system where they can both work together in some way.
