Title blunt and simple, Have you switched console usage as of late? Because I have found myself playing on steam more than the Xbox, or at least to pass the time for preorders.

I bought an Xbox because none of my friends own a Playstation. I never use it.

I own a PS3, a Wii, a PSP, two DS Lites, a crappy computer, and an Android tablet. My roomate has a slightly better computer and an XBox 360. In the closet I have my PS2, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, GBA SP, and Gameboy Color.
I play whicher I feel like playing whenever I have a chance, and thus have a huge backlog. What is this "switching" you speak of. I never had a "main" console to begin with.
I have a PS3 with a dead harddrive, vita, crappy old computer, crappy old laptop, ps2, broken DS-XL, three broken psp, broken xbox 360.
I play whatever is not broken.
Most of my friends have Xbox so when I play multiplayer games, I play with them. But single player games like Skyrim or FFXIII, I play it on the PS3. If I could play PC I would. The only game my laptop can play is minecraft and the graphics card is ancient and my ram is too small to even update texture packs. cries
I mostly play on PS3 and Vita, since I'm on PS+ and get loads of free stuff, but lately I've been playing loads of Humble Indie Bundle games on my laptop.
I switch from PS3, PS2, PSP, DS, GBA, PC and a busted up wii.

I don't get what you mean by 'switching'. Consoles are pretty cheap nowadays that you pretty much only need to switch if one breaks down. Phones on the other hand, are expensive to keep more than one because of the highway robbery that is 'data plan'.

No, I use every console I have, because it's not the console that's important, it's the games with moe moe kyun kawaii-as-fuck 2D girls. That's all that matters in the end: your dedication to getting a console just for them.
Been playing my 3DS a lot because my DS lite is being stupid. Not that I have many systems to chose from to begin with.
I am considering trying out zsh, but generally bash is my console of choice.
