Why is lust a deadly sin? Isn't it normal for species of the same kind to want the pleasures to be given by the other sex? What's wrong with that?

I have plenty more questions..but I fear they'll haunt you for life... .___.

@Kuroba_Loki yeah its confusing. In short, the Bible says having lust for someone you are not in a relationship with is bad. Also, the Bible says if a man/woman looks at the opposite sex in that way and all ready married, they have committed adultery in their minds. That is also why it says modesty is important so you don't lead others to lust after you, thus leading them into sin. This goes deeper but lets leave it at that.

@Kuroba_Loki I will answer your question. Lust in itself is not a sin, but the "sin" of lust is when you let your lust control you, which means you hurt others because you wish to please yourself in a sexual way. The most common example of how people get hurt from sinners of lust would be cheating. Other lustful people can be easily manipulated to hurt or betray other people in hopes of being rewarded with sexual favours.

On the general topic of what is worse, I would say none of them. They are pretty much equal, it only depends on how severe the sin is in the individual person. At least that is how I look at it.

I think Lust by itself is the least harmful but combined with Greed and Gluttony it's a terrible thing. I cant decide about the rest because they are all pretty bad when they are extreme.
