This is a short story I wrote (maybe 8 months ago?) for a fiction workshop I was in at the time. It was received favorably, and my subsequent revision of it earned me an A in the class. Now it's posted on my site Dreams of the Quill, with just a tad more work on it. I hope you enjoy... or at least, appreciate. For the most part, it's a downer, and I can't expect that to be everyone's cup of tea. This is a story of disconnection.
