You could try looking for it on J-List, they sell Japanese games for the English market, after all. (And yes, that link has my code in it, so if you buy your game from them because of me, I will be rewarded, right)

Then you need to rephrase your opening post:

Hello, I am looking for someone to help me find Japanese light novels to buy on Amazon. Sadly I can't read ANY JAPANESE AT ALL, so can someone please help me find them in ENGRIIIIISH?

Chances are, if you can't find it on Amazon.com listings, then it's not commercially available in English, and you have a few choices:

    • Wait for it to be licensed by an overseas publisher and published in English (LOLOLOLOLOLOL GOOD FUCKING LUCK)
    • Wait for fans to start translating it (Not as much LOL since I translate some shit myself, but still, good fucking luck)
    • Start learning 日本語 like your life depends on it (GOD FORBID YOU HAVE TO LEARN ANYTHING THOUGH)

    さて、日本語を習いに行きたい?

    ^ This.

As an alternative, you can check out Baka-Tsuki's site. They translate some light novels.

.... Are you Chinese? Because there are a shitload of light novels translated and up to date in Chinese.

Other than that, refer to @Senkonna's suggestions.

The book format is used in other languages, but the term「light novel」is usually restricted to Japan, not sure if they have a technical term in China or Korea too though (I be a Japanigga only nigs), but I know they exist. And us Japaniggas tend to put more illustration spam within the books.

No term at all. They're just called novels.

@InsaneBoredGame It's Taiwanese. All the "Chinese Light Novels" are Taiwanese. Hell, 90% of all translated manga available in China are either Taiwanese or Cantonese.
