Well, spandex and boots is so 1950's. We all are about wearing a nice hipster clothing now.
But if you're wondering about the 'ally of justice' thing, it's just the easiest character archetype to write and sell, y'know. I mean, look at what Evangelion did to Hideaki Anno...
I used to have a pimp desktop with rainmeter and shit but then my HDD died and I couldn't be bothered to actually pimp up my desktop again.
So, behold my awful desktop set up. Could you guess what brand my laptop is?
(There's even the Reopen closed tab thingy that still hover over my screen even as I'm typing this. What is this thing called computer shutdown again?)
Alright, I suppose people should be familiar with Squidward's Suicide creepypasta thing but how many has actually watched the 'real' video of it?
This video is supposedly the original video of the pasta. It's obviously an edited together spongebob episodes to match the pasta. To say the least, it's creepy as fuck, yo!
Seriously though, it has the dead kid image and all that so...
lol Becker Hilton Medical Institute
The Becker Hilton Medical Institute
In iRenew’s commercial they use a plug from a Dr. Scott Becker from the Becker Hilton Institute who tells us just how incredibly effective these treatments really are. How could an educated person with a doctorate to boot believe in such a thing if it weren’t true? Well, I’m not so sure about his education, but I can tell you that his career activities may have something to do with it. I looked into the Becker Hilton Institute and man did I find some bunk. The institute is located in Miramar, FL and their “Yahoo Local” profile says they specialize in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (thanks again Oprah), nutraceutical supplementation, and age management. Six reviews were written on the profile. Five of the reviews gave a single star (lowest possible) and contained some colorful descriptions. A single five star review throw me off a bit until I read it. The review was titled, “Five Star Criminals.” How lovely. When I tried to view the institutes website I was redirected to a page that read, “This account has been suspended.” Looks like Doc Becker doesn’t make for much of an expert endorsement.
Also, Dr. Becker seems to have a serious case of Green Screen for an office lol
Because, why go to France while Kalos is much more fun and way cleaner?
"Domikado" is the first part of a song of a children's clapping game where when the song ends, the person whose hand got clapped last is eliminated. If you happen to dodge the clap, the person who tried to clap you is eliminated instead.
Here's a video of the game:
In that video, they only counted till four but we usually go up to ten and count in English.
As shown in the video, this game could get really HUGE. I think once I had a game where 40 people participated to determine some sort of a "Domikado" champion in our class during an absurdly long recess. What's more fun of course, is when you intentionally try to hurt people with the last clap >:D
Anyway, I added "Re" because I always thought as a child that this song is illogical and I liked to add "Re" in between "Do" and "Mi" during the sing-alongs to fit with the Do-re-mi scale. Then it just stuck with me and I happened to remember it when I made this account, so I used it.
I used to trade songs with my friends in highschool in which we copied entire iPods (or whatever MP3 Player but mostly iPods) and this means that I have a bunch of songs sitting on my hard drive that I've never heard or know of.
(Of course, now that I'm older, I'm starting to buy music again but that's beside the point...)
Anyway, one of the songs I discovered recently is this song called "Tugboat" by Galaxie 500 which was bundled in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" soundtrack which is a pretty cool soundtrack to say the least.
Then today, I decided to browse through my songs and I found...
A cover of that song by British Sea Power.
This was a surprise but I started listening to it and WOW! I was... like, blown away, yo! This cover is really awesome and I immediately downloaded a new copy (because the one on my hard drive is a shitty copy) off amazon. It's great!
But the lesson here is: I need to start delving into my own music library; who knows what I will find there.
I never thought I could finally sing to Claire de Lune. Connie Talbot did a great job with this and she's like 12. What have I done since when I was 12?
Is it safe to bump this now? Is everybody out of school yet?
