Either way, I'd recommend you watch the first movie. You can't beat a classic like it.

It depends on which version you've seen. Is it the one with Charlton Heston in it? (1968 original) Or is it the remake? In the case of the original where he sees the statue of liberty at the end of the movie, he realises that he never was sent off to a different planet by humanity. He was put in a time capsule, surviving a nuclear war of sorts and waking up to find a post-nuclear earth and at the end understanding that humanity were the ones who were ultimately to blame for the demise of human society and the rise of the apes.

Guys, I know the reason as to why it doesn't happen. I'm just amazed it continues to not happen because everyone else knows the exact same as I do, yet doesn't try to break this chain of lurking in the shadows and instead chooses to bitch at how good everything was back then.

Anyone else going to agree with me that we could just go ON CHAT more often and talk to each other instead of occasionally dropping messages on here, being all melancholic of what used to be?

I mean, in all honesty , this isn't helping a great deal either now, is it? Or do we just choose to be miserable on a designated thread?
