Anime isn't just animated shows. Anime takes place in people's hearts with stories about romance, adventure, action, sadness, happiness, etc. It isn't a distraction in a sense. It's a way to see yourself for who you truly are and be happy with how you have grown.

For me, I find certain anime to be the reason why I am happy today. I have encountered so many amazing people related to the anime community.

All in all, anime can change people, and that, to me, is inspiring.

  • In Supercell

@Kittycat I'm glad you are adding them! And thank you, for enjoying music too :)

  • In Supercell

@Truchie I agree. "Today is a Beautiful Day" has some great songs. @Kittycat I know, right :) Listening to music like that makes me feel so good inside.

  • Supercell

I have recently started listening to Supercell and wow, can I say, just touching. When I compare Supercell or other Japanese singers or Vocaloid to the American crap I'm used to, I feel like moving to Japan. The songs like "Hero" or "Watashi e" or "Goodbye Memories" really speak to me. Sure, I read the subtitles and I understand what they are singing but also, the music is genuinely unique and different. Japan has such an amazing culture and I'm sad that not everyone knows just how much music can affect people. It has changed me in so many ways. I think that if you feel any bit of emotion when listening to a sad song or a happy song, then that's rad. Really rad.

Anyone else get all tingly inside listening to the music they love?

  • In small things in life

I really appreciate you for making this thread. It's something I think everyone wonders in their head. As for me, I would say that as an eighteen year old high school graduate, life is pretty good right now. I have a loving family, a boyfriend that I care deeply for, and I got into two amazing colleges. I cherish every day I have with these people because soon I will be going off on my own and I find that scary and exciting at the same time. If you had asked me this let's say in my freshman year, I would have said that I hated my life, that I hated a lot of things. But that's the wonderful thing about growing up and living. Things change, and it's up to you to make the best of it. I would say happy is a bit of an understatement for me. I don't mean to shove that into people's faces or anything.

I just hope everyone who has doubts right now, has a wonderful and amazing life.

  • Hyouka!

This was such a compelling anime. It had the right amount of mystery, romance, and school life. Anyone else think so?
