Shimeji, also known as Desktop Buddies. That's what I'm talking about~
Making this thread coz I didn't get any search results back.
This isn't about introducing them because they've been out for quite a bit, but rather because there were a few that I've been searching for and wasn't able to find~tl;dr, a shimeji request thread.
I don't really mind if others ask/share their shimeji, but most shimejis are available on deviantart and google! make sure you search them beforehand because I do too~!
So here're the Shimejis I'm after, help appreciated!
-Walker Yumasaki [DRRR!]
-Jun Kanzato [Persona: Trinity Soul]
-Yuzuru Otonashi [Angel Beats!]
-Ooyama [Angel Beats!]
-Ayato Naoi [Angel Beats!]
-Kogitsune [Natsume Yuujinchou] though I don't have much hopes for this one... sob...
-Any raven or crow or black bird-like shimejis~I ~think ~ this is in the art section... first time posting, I am a klutz sob

adding more rules doesn't equal more posts I would think~
So it's a park setting? hmm.../***
So here I am at the local park, thrown out of the comfort of my room and computer by one raging and foul-mouthed mother. Thinking back, I'm certain she had smoke coming out of her ears! Just because I'm on the Net twenty hours a day... I'm her one and only sixteen year old daughter, aren't lone kids supposed to be living in glory of slavin- ...I mean, asking their parents to do what they want?Well anyway, I'm out here in the open park with only my phone to keep me company. At least I can access the forums with this, good old technology never let you down!
"But haa... so coooooollllld..." I found myself mumbling as I curled while sitting on a bench. I was wearing my short jeans, but my socks came up to my thighs so I thought it'd be fine. At least this over-sized shirt I got for my last birthday covered my legs while I hug my knees and this vest kept my tummy warm. Only a few strands of hair danced along to the wind, my hair mostly tucked inside the cap I had on. Only my arms felt they were gonna freeze off... Yeah, it wasn't that cold, but I can't stand cold!
Especially! cold! hands! grrr..."How am I supposed to browse the Net with cold handsssss"

I second B&S~! Personally liked LaTale, but until OGP gets S2 patch, I'ma stay well off of it~ mostly due to S1 having horribly slow attacks XP Btw, LaTale is a 2D Casual Side-Scroller iirc, just mentioning since the OP mentioned anime styles. Eden Eternal oddly reminded me of Grand Fantasia... were they by the same dev or something~? I don't even remember

I'm interested to rp, will stick around to see how it goes~
I would like to suggest having a loose yet definite plot to it so that the rp doesn't get boring with nothing to do. I said 'loose' so that it doesn't completely restrict other rpers to do what they want, but not too vague that they elope into the sunsets and rp on the other side of the universe or something.
Likewise, I'd like to know a bit about the rp, like a small intro about the world the plot plays out, before the character submit so that I can attempt to 'feel' like my character in the roleplay situation... if that made sense.
Lastly rules and things you don't want to happen. I'm just rambling on about this kinda stuff because I wasn't sure if this was your first time suggesting roleplay or not, if you know all this then just disregard my rambles~

In my past experience, the easiest way to get a conversation going is to talk about something both you and the other person has interest to; as such, that's why people can hold longer conversations with those who they know. Keep in mind that the conversation will eventually drift to a different topic, and it's probably better to let the topic change around since you'll eventually run out of things to say with only one topic.
Body language/eye contact is important too if you're conversing face-to-face; if you're talking to someone and they're staring off in the distance, it can feel like you're talking to yourself or something. Even a simple nod or a chuckle on the right time can motivate the conversation to go on~
Another important factor is listening; it's good to know when to speak and when to give the other person a chance to speak as well. This usually gets easier to sort out as you attempt more conversations, since different people have different capacity to speak and listen.
Lastly, keep in mind that most conversations won't work out the way you wanted from your first try. It's important to continue trying until you can match the opposing person's conversation level~ /it took me a few years to get a comfortable person to converse with one time >.</
This is all my personal opinion and advice so feel free to disregard and challenge anything I've said~ Hope it helps you!
