I'm the guy who created the Durarara-eque chat back in March 2010 and later developed the message board and other modules of the site. I refactored the code about 4 times with significant visual and functional changes. I am satisfied with the outcome and as such no longer developing it. I am also no longer the administrator of the site, for that, see @Warlock.

I like tea and calculating statistics. I am a big fan of the scientific method, and as such, an atheist. My Internet identity has its roots in the so-called aniblogosphere, but I am not interested in Japanese animation anymore.

    @Red__Dot You're fine as long as it's valid JSON. If you're using a C++ JSON encoding/decoding library you're probably all set. :)

    Edit: I actually don't remember what happens when you send it invalid JSON. Either the server will choke or it will just ignore the message (I do think it will not choke though)

    Because having a trolling-style image with no explanation about reasons or term of the ban was always a shit idea.

    The idea was this: Banned folks have done something bad to get banned (e.g. spam, shitposting), therefore nobody could care less about their feelings. It's a funny image saying "You don't play nice with us? We can do without you, no problem". In that context, it makes perfect sense.

    You guys don't get this thread. This image used to crown "you are banned" pages back in the days of archiveCL. Somebody posted it in the chat and I picked it up for that purpose. Seems like it is not so known anymore.

    Why are we not using it anymore is beyond me
