Out of THAT, 90% of the stuff of what I once liked "liked" is crap. So, the subjective quality shit that I like tends to be well filtered.

Calling rap shit/not music/repetitive is true and false at the same time. 99.99999% of anything I hear is crap in rap in my opinion. Even for the artists I like to listen to, the overwhelming majority of their songs are crap. There is a reason for favorite songs. If you like the whole track, then either you are insensitive to quality of music, or you are blinded by your loyalty to that band/musician. aka it is just a fad (Justin Beiber, Madonna, NCYNC, even The Beatles).

Since most of the reason why we like the songs we like is because of subjective forces in our wee tiny brains. but I don't really give a fuck if they hate on my classical piano music hero Chopin, cause I would shit on their Lady Gaga craze, but I am PigBawz, a Baron of Bacon, and will not succumb to such lowly levels.

Also 2 things that nobody noted so far; 1) musicians want money. They will put shit out and make platinum or gold with it (but ppl always b hatin'). The mainstream shit is all about money. Rap? They gain at least 40% of their salary through vodka/tequila/wine companies by advertizing it through the music videos. 2) The more musicians in any genre, the more shitty music there will be accumulating. Therefore, it is not really surprising to see shit everywhere. (Money) dicks need to be sucked on so that (profit) cum would spew out mmmk?(most) Musicians (and all politicians) will be whores, professional whores, even. Society has done a decent job filtering some shit from the past, but from time to time, some of the "classics" make me cringe.

all in all, i say this to the naysayers of any music that they denounce as utter 100% shit: lurk more through the 99.99999% of shit and find dat fucking DIAMOND.
