The bombardment of colors...MY BODY IS READY!
Well, I hardly seen murder seen in a pair of rose-coloured glasses, but I'll witness fans' reactions once the game reaches NA.

I'm working on a fairy tale-inspired story based in the present times. To sum it up without going straight to spoilers, it's actually fairy tales meets (partially) spy fiction meets urban fantasy. Right now I'm having a tough time thinking of a suitable title for it, so if anyone knows of a phrase which appears commonly in fairy tales (like 'Once Upon A Time', 'Happily Ever After', etc. Too bad they can't be used), let me know.

I'm not surprised that Karneval's getting an anime adaptation sooner or later. I'm praying hard that Studio DEEN doesn't adapt this great series. In fact, DEEN should stay far away from adapting Karneval. Any studios other than them.
The story can be a little confusing for some, but it's not too hard for them to get used to it.

Less than 20.

They only started full production in July 2011. Estimate how long will they take to complete this game, probably by the end of 2012 or some time around 2013 the earliest.
Damn, I want the game now. T_T

@OneDollar: That's what I'm currently doing. I'm not going full force with it until I get everything done. Which means that you have a wait a few more years before I start to have serious plans with it. One thing that I'm holding it back is because of financial issues. Don't worry, it's not that serious. I prefer going about this slowly than go all out for now.

@Ashkachan Maybe some of the staff secretly read/watch yaoi whenever their bosses aren't looking, or watching it in their private lives. Or they are anime fans themselves.

Okay guys, I know it's a bit quick but I've asked Jin-sama to help me make rough sketches for the characters in my project.
I would like to thank everyone who has answered to this thread for your participation. But, that doesn't mean that I'll stop here. Someday in future I might ask any one of you who has replied to help me in another project. :D

@ eterno: That was informational. There's still a lot of things for me to learn about the industry and there's so many things in my head right now that I would like to make serious considerations. I still like the illustrations to be anime-influenced, and I was hoping to be friends with the artist who's willing to help.
@ acostoss: Thanks for cleaning it up! I'm still new to this site and I hope that I can find someone who can help me. OTOH I may return to the drawing board if there's something that needs to be urgently fixed. Or I need to learn how to draw properly.

@eterno If I have the skills to draw well, I would prefer doing it by myself. You know, working with another person and share the credit is going to be problematic in later years (copyright issues, all that jazz).
If you want to know a bit more about my story...deep breathe (This is going to sound cliche, but it'll get better):
The main character's a housewife in her thirties (and yes, she's a mother of one). She has a personal wish (she doesn't want to tell anyone else about it. It would sound silly to their ears) to be a hero like the ones in the stories she read to her child during bedtimes. She opens a magic book and she goes to another world, which I said before, influenced by Norse mythology.
She's a bit naive and idealistic at first glance, but there are a lot of things that can't bring her down. When she enters the other world, she would be thinking: 'Oh I'm in a fairy tale-like world now. I'm a hero now? But I don't think the people would except me. You know, I'm a housewife and all. I did learned fencing when I was younger and...hey! Who's going to take care of my child back home?'
Actually, my story has lots and lots of characters. Expect to see around 50 characters that are of importance to the plot, as well as many subversion of the usual tropes you see in fantasy stories. (As in the usual 'You're a hero. Now go explore the world and save it and get the girl of your dreams.'
Yeah, it sounds crappy right now. Will this be enough?
