  • In I was going to make a joke about...

    I was going to make a joke about Hitler because you all would Nazi that coming.

  • In A Place at the Table (Documentary)

    When I was watching the trailer I thought it looked really good and wanted to watch it later. Then I heard the Civil Wars and I am now watching it right this very moment.

    edit:

    Now that I watched this completely, I was unaware of the hunger struggle that many go through in America each day. This documentary was very informative, touching, and shocking. At the end I actually teared up there for a moment when Barbie was giving that speech of hers. It made me realize that I am very fortunate and blessed to have what I have and I should most definitely not take it for granted. Thanks so much for posting this, it was well-worth watching it!

  • In The colorless ID cards?

    No tags, why no tags?

  • In Intolerable things in movies.

    I usually don't watch really intense movies, but in gross or scary movies I can usually get by without completely dying although today was an exception. I watched "The Ward" with two other friends of mine on Netflix. This movie actually isn't that bad in comparison to other movies, I've seen worse. Although in this one scene, someone(I don't want to ruin it for anyone who actually watches it) was getting electricuted. Electrocution happened one more time in this movie. Both times I had to look away completely from the screen and plug my ears. I guess I found something that finally got to me, just the whole thing about being electrocuted.

    Now I don't mean electrocution by lightning or a short circuit, I mean being strapped down on a table and going through a whole gruesome process of it all. The second electrocution scene, the character didn't even get anything to bite down and it goes downhill from that. I don't know why but it just bugs me.

    On a quick note, dolls in scary movies scare the crap out of me, probably even more than this. This is because of watching "Dead Silence" so many times.

  • In [Event] Kotonoha No Niwa: Stream(s of tears) hour! (OOPS POSTPONED)

    If this does actually happen (and I hope that it does) I would love to watch it too! I glad that this was bumped, otherwise I would have missed out on this opportunity.

    @DarkChaplain

    I've seen it at my local bookstore in the science fiction section and have been dying to buy it!

  • In What are you reading?

    I am currently reading Eisenhorn by Dan Abnett and am on the second book in this omnibus. The author has great suspense in each book that makes me not put it down. I really am looking forward to finishing this book and reading more similar outstanding works. http://nathanballingrud.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/eisenhorn-eisenhorn-omnibus-14738197.jpeg

    ps. @DarkChaplain suggested this book to me and I suggest it to everyone else as well!
