  • Guilty Crown

alt The series revolves around a boy named Ouma Shu. He is caught up in a series of events that lead him to meet a girl named Inori Yuzuriha. This fateful encounter leads to Shu gaining the "King's Power". This power has some connection to the disastrous event that was named Lost Christmas. This power allows him to draw the weapons known as "voids" from individuals. Shu is thrust into a new life as he deals with this new power, and his mysterious meeting with Inori.

Overall, I've enjoyed the series quite a lot, and I feel that the animation is pretty nice. So, I'd advise you all to check it out and give it a try! Feel free to also post your thoughts or reactions to the anime as well as it progresses.

  • Mirai Nikki

alt So, Mirai Nikki is a new series that is airing this season. The concept is about people who write diaries who are part of a game fabricated by Deus, the God of space and time. However, these are not ordinary diaries, since they are text messages on a cell-phone from the future. Armed with these "Mirai Nikki" the candidates will fight for becoming the new God of time and space to replace Deus. However, these diary users must kill each other and avoid the "Dead End" route in order to win the game to achieve their own desires for when they become God.

Norio Wakamoto also voices Deus, which is a major plus in my book. Yuno, the yandere of the series, also fulfills her role quite well throughout the series. The series might come off as something you could easily dismiss as mediocre at first, but as you watch, you will see there is so much more happening and you'll eventually connect the dots in the plot. There is also a PSP game of Mirai Nikki called Mirai Nikki: 13 Hitome no Nikki Shoyuusha, which is pretty decent. Overall, it's a great series, so watch it!
